1951 IN PERSON: The Trump Administration’s Latest Constitutional Controversies

One-time in-Person | Registration opens 8/26/25 10:00 AM

Since being inaugurated in January, President Donald Trump has sought aggressively to consolidate governmental power within the Executive Branch and to wield presidential power in ways that are unprecedented. Many of his actions have been challenged in court, with lower federal courts ruling against his administration in more than 90% of all constitutional challenges this year. But in some of these disputes, the US Supeme Court has reversed the lower courts and sided with President Trump. We will discuss the most significant constitutional controversies that are currently pending in courts.
