1947 IN PERSON: OK, I Want to Know: A Non-native's Dive Into Cincinnati History
One-time in-Person | Registration opens 8/26/25 10:00 AM
Cincinnati Public Radio's feature "OKI Wanna Know" lets listeners ask the questions: Who is that street named for? What is that building for? What's that blue thing doing here? This course will reveal some of the secrets of how the answers are uncovered, how they're presented to the audience, and why this sort of work is important.
Moderator: Bill Rinehart has been in radio for 30+ years, moving town to town, up and down the dial. He's worked at rock, pop, alternative, classic rock, adult contemporary, and country music stations. Now, he's living on the air in Cincinnati... Cincinnati WVXU. He bills himself as the "Dr. Johnny Fever of public radio," but so far nobody buys it.
