I don’t know about you, but I'm in need of some comic relief. Let’s read selections that make us laugh. To feel more productive, we can analyze, as Dave Barry does in his essay, “Why Humor is Funny.” Mostly, though, let’s read for fun. For week one, read Dave Barry’s Greatest Hits through “The Rules” or farther, if you like. If you want to get ahead, start David Sedaris’ Me Talk Pretty One Day.
