Ready to take your backgammon skills to the next level? Let’s drill down into game strategy beyond the basics. PLEASE NOTE: this is not a “learn-to-play” class for beginners. Besides learning more strategy, you will also be playing against members of this class. PREREQUISITE: You must have completed the OLLI course “Backgammon for ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS: Terminology, Rules, and Strategy.” This course is also for anyone who already knows how to play and wants to improve their game.

Moderators: Dave Dargis plays backgammon every Wednesday with a friend. He also plays occasionally at a site online. He is a good player who can teach all aspects of the game, and his goal is to bring people together to play this great game both socially and competitively. Melody Dargis has also co-moderated OLLI courses on tarot and divination.
