4306 Basics of Jewelry Making Short Course
Multi-week in-person | Registration opens 8/26/25 10:00 AM
This course consists of four sessions to learn the basics of jewelry making. We will concentrate on essential skills such as using beading wire and crimp beads to create necklaces or bracelets, and ear wires and headpins to make earrings. No experience is required, and all materials will be provided. If you have beads and supplies of your own, you are welcome to bring them. The same skills are useful for jewelry repair, and if you have broken pieces, we can see if we can fix them.
Moderator: Grace Severyn enjoyed moderating several art-related (mixed-media and paper-beading) classes for OLLI. She raised her family in Cincinnati and has been a member of the Kennedy Heights Arts Center collective for a decade. Her formal education was in biology and law, but art has always been her favorite!
