4209 Stop the Bleed: Empowering You to Save a Life
One-time in-Person | Registration opens 8/26/25 10:00 AM
Stop the Bleed is an evidence-based nationwide educational program that empowers individuals to act quickly to save lives. Uncontrolled bleeding injuries are the #1 cause of preventable death. This level of trauma can result from natural or manmade disasters and everyday accidents. People can bleed to death in as little as two minutes and often before trained responders arrive. After completing this program, bystanders with little or no medical training can become heroic lifesavers. Tamara Galyon is Trauma Prevention and Outreach Coordinator for UC Health and UC Medical Center.
