Designed to improve your “photographer’s eye” and challenge your artistry with a camera, this workshop is for those who have previously completed a photography course, have a good working knowledge of their DSLR/mirrorless camera, and want to engage in visual creativity. Each week, you'll shoot a specific assignment and share FOUR of those photos that show your current skill level. We'll participate in active discussion of the presented work. The workshop stresses taking good photographs, however you should have a basic knowledge of photo-editing software, such as Lightroom/Photoshop.

Moderators: Kieran Daly and Howard Jackson are former UC professors. They bring their collective experience as long-time amateur photographers with increasing sophistication. Kieran also brings his amateur painting experience and Howard his experience as a physicist to bear on photography topics. Both strongly believe that we can learn not only from experts but also from individual members of the class.
