We’ll cover an introduction to genetics and the field of genetic counseling; how to take a family history and its utilization in risk management; genetics of common diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and psychiatric illnesses; genetic testing and screening; case examples of diagnostic odysseys; and genetics in the media.
