Cincinnati’s Modern Art Society was the forerunner to today’s Contemporary Art Center. Hear about the early years of the Society from 1939 to approximately 1954. The talk will tell the story of how the three women founders of the Society found fundraising success with the help and encouragement of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
