4616 Fall Prevention 101 for Aging Adults
One-time in-Person | Registration opens 4/1/25 10:00 AM
Fewer falls mean fewer injuries, fewer visits to the emergency room, fewer hospitalizations, and fewer deaths. Trauma nurses will help aging adults learn strategies for avoiding or eliminating fall hazards to better navigate inside and outside the home and describe the roles vision, medication, and footwear play in falls. Gina Menninger, Trauma Prevention and Outreach Coordinator for UC Health's Trauma Center, wants you to learn to step outside your home with confidence, become more aware of fall hazards, and learn how your fall risk can be reduced. She will be joined by Tammy Galyon, RN.
