3023 Planting for Pollinators
One-time in-Person | Registration opens 4/1/25 10:00 AM
We will review how well, or not so well, your garden supported nature this past winter. We will consider if your winter garden was visually pleasing. Next, we'll dive into planting for pollinators: how to select plants, how to prep (or not prep) the soil, review garden planting styles, and learn about caring for a garden planted for pollinators.
Moderator: Jennifer Smith is an award-winning pollinator garden designer with Wimberg Landscaping. She is a member of the Horticulture Committee for Spring Grove Cemetery, taught at UC-Communiversity, has spoken to numerous garden clubs and organizations including the Midwest Native Plant Society, and was co-presenter on planting for nature for the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens’ Native Plant Symposium.
