2906 Friday Book Class: Short Stories by Authors from Many Backgrounds

We will read and discuss four linked short story collections by a group of authors from a variety of backgrounds, including immigrants to the U.S., African Americans, and Native Americans. The class meets every other week. April 25—"Interpreter of Maladies" by Jhumpa Lahiri, May 9—"Lost in the City" by Edward P Jones, May 23—"If I Survive You" by Jonathan Escoffery, and June 6—"Night of the Living Rez" by Morgan Talty.
Moderator: Susan Robinson has enjoyed attending and moderating the Friday Book Class for many years.
