Learn about the history of handbells, the art of ringing, and the future of this beautifully melodic percussion instrument. Handbells will be available to see and handle during class. Brenda Kohl Orlando has been playing handbells for 17 years, performing in a community church choir, and attending numerous festivals and workshops. Choir performances include public venues, weddings, churches, senior facilities, invitationals, and regional events. She is a Clinical Research Project Manager in the Hematology Oncology Department at the UC College of Medicine.
