2312 Exploring 1960s TV
Multi-week in-person | Registration opens 4/1/25 10:00 AM
The Womers lived the whole 1960s and, between them, saw and learned a lot from TV. We will review and discuss all the genres of TV and the effects of and on American culture of the time and beyond. We'll look at the network system, discuss the local scene, both here and around the country before cable. What were your favorites and how do you think TV of the 1960s affected you and the current events then and now? Come ready to share.
Moderators: Shannon and Kathy Womer are real Baby Boomers from the late 1940s who grew up in the 1950s and 1960s. They are part of the crossover generation from radio and movies to TV—the first real TV generation.
