2214 Dispute Resolution: Negotiating and Mediating Through Conflict

Multi-week in-person | Registration opens 4/1/25 10:00 AM

An insider’s examination of how public and private disputes can be resolved through negotiation, facilitation, mediation, and arbitration. Analysis behind the scenes of successful negotiations to uncover the value of determining each party’s interests, creating options for settlement, communicating and listening purposefully, assessing the parties’ alternatives to agreement, and developing a good working relationship with the other side. We’ll use interactive video and role-playing to demonstrate and discuss successful dispute resolution skills and strategies that you can put to use in your own interactions.
