1942 ZOOM: Stand-Up History: Cincinnati's Colorful Past

one-time ZOOM | Registration opens 4/1/25 10:00 AM

Stand-Up History is an unruly gang of feral raconteurs and defrocked historians who flout the flavorless fables foisted upon us by the minions of myth-making machinery. Stand-Up History dares to shatter fragile factoids and lob cream pies into the fawning faces of moldy old legends. You will hear aspects of Cincinnati’s colorful past that will amaze and even shock you.

Moderators: Greg Hand is the proprietor of the “Cincinnati Curiosities” blog and author of a book, titled, curiously enough, “Cincinnati Curiosities.” Amy Whalen, an expert at researching family histories, maintains a blog titled “How Your Ancestors Died.” Steve Groh is an educator and freelance historian.
