1618 Rock Docs: Behind the Scenes and More
Multi-week in-person | Registration opens 4/1/25 10:00 AM
We’ll start out with documentary films about the music personnel who were behind the scenes but necessary to create some of your favorite pop/rock songs from the 1960s and early 1970s. And then there will be a few more rock docs that stray from that topic. Some of the included films are The Wrecking Crew, Standing in the Shadows of Motown, Twenty Feet From Stardom, Muscle Shoals, Monterey Pop, and American Utopia. The double-class period gives us time to watch each documentary and then discuss.
Moderator: Alan Sunderman was an IT person and an elementary school teacher in his past lives. He is a lifelong fan of rock and pop music from a certain era.
