We will continue to explore the cannon of Richard Wagner’s music dramas. This term we will be studying Tristan und Isolde and Meistersinger and start Wagner’s Ring Cycle with Das Rhinegold. Introductions to each work will be provided as well as class discussions each week.

Moderator: Jim Slouffman has been an artist and educator for more than 55 years. He is the President Emeritus of the Wagner Society of Cincinnati. He received his BFA from Wright State University in 1972 and his MFA from UC in 1976.
