Don Heinrich Tolzmann, historian for the Covington-Cincinnati Suspension Bridge Committee, will discuss the life and work of John A. Roebling, the German-American civil engineer (1806-1869). He will focus on the construction of the Suspension Bridge over the Ohio River, including its reconstruction in the 1890s and the bridge's subsequent history.
