The seminar will discuss Putin's political dominance and his rule of Russia. What are the sources of vulnerability? We will discuss current events in the context of Russia's future in the near term (2-3 years) or long-term (e.g., 5-10 years in the future).

Moderator: Ivan Ivanov, Associate Professor Educator at the School of Public and International Affairs, UC. His areas of teaching and research are international relations and comparative politics with focus on international security, inter-organizational cooperation, alliances, and NATO politics as well as European and East European politics, democratization, and political development. He is author of "Transforming NATO: New Allies, Missions, and Capabilities.”
