4505 Beaded Jewelry-Making Basics
Multi-week in-person | Registration opens 1/3/25 10:00 AM
This is a hands-on five-week course focusing on the basic techniques to make beaded jewelry. You will learn how to use beading wire, memory wire, crimps, clasps, head pins, and ear wires. Each person will be encouraged to make a necklace, bracelet, and pair of earrings. All needed supplies will be provided, but if you have beads or other supplies on hand, you are welcome to bring them to add to your creations.
Moderator: Grace Severyn enjoyed moderating several art-related (mixed-media and paper-beading) classes for OLLI. She raised her family in Cincinnati and has been a member of the Kennedy Heights Arts Center collective for a decade. Her formal education was in biology and law, but art has always been her favorite!
