Experience a hilarious overview of comedy in America from the 1800s to today, featuring selected information and performances from vaudeville and burlesque, the heyday of comedy shows on radio and TV, comedic Hollywood films, and standup. NOTE: some video footage contains off-color language. Nancy Nolan departs from her earlier OLLI presentations on female jazz vocalists for this amusing program highlighting some of America’s best comedic minds.
