Get started in wheel-thrown pottery! In this eight-week class, designed for beginners, an
experienced potter will guide you through every step, from the initial stages to the final
touches. You'll master essential techniques such as centering the clay, raising walls to form
your vessel, trimming for a refined finish, pulling handles for pieces like mugs, and glazing your creations with vibrant colors. By the end of the course, you'll have created several beautiful, finished ceramic pieces!
All clay and necessary supplies will be provided; we simply ask that you bring a towel to class.
Please note that your work may require additional time for proper drying and firing, typically up to one week after the class concludes. You will be notified when your work is ready for
collection.
