Stained Glass-Inspired Suncatchers
Homeschool | Available (Membership Required)
In this colorful class, students will create a stained glass–inspired suncatcher using transparent paints on a clear surface. Young artists will explore how painting with transparent colors allows light to shine through, just like real stained glass.
Students will also learn how stained glass art has been used for centuries to tell stories, especially in churches where windows often share stories from the Bible. Inspired by this idea, each student will design a suncatcher that tells a story of their own. What story will your “stained glass” artwork share when the sunlight shines through?
