In this creative class, students will use acrylic paint pens to create a colorful painting made entirely of dots! Inspired by the exhibition Rising Water by Studio Lemercier, students will explore how artists use placement, spacing, and color intensity to build images and patterns. Students will also discover how artwork can look different up close compared to when you step back to see the whole picture. Through this project, students will think about how looking closely—and looking at the big picture—can change the way we see art and the world around us.
