Young artists will explore the ancient and beautiful art of mosaic-making, learning how to transform small, colorful materials into masterpieces. Campers will create patterned designsand explore "tessellation" as they carefully arrange and adhere colorful tiles to create their own custom works of art. Through this creative process, students will learn about the history of mosaics while developing their fine motor skills. Under our instructor's guidance, campers will experiment with color theory and light, discovering how different textures and shades can bring a flat surface to life.
