Young artists will explore the shimmering possibilities of Gallery Glass, a unique medium that mimics the look of professional stained glass. Campers will learn the art of outlining and "leading" as they design several custom creations, including vibrant suncatchers, decorative window clings, and faux-leaded glass panels. Through this creative process, students will learn the fundamentals of color theory, transparency, and geometric design. Under our instructors' guidance, campers will experiment with a variety of "liquid leading" techniques and specialized glass paints to bring their imaginative visions to life. By the end of the week, every artist will have several pieces ready to brighten any home window!
