Join us for an inspiring, hands-on workshop led by internationally recognized ceramic artist and ocean advocate Courtney Mattison. This event is held in conjunction with her solo exhibition, "Surface Tension," currently on view in the William M. Grace Community Gallery. During this session, Courtney will demonstrate her signature methods for creating texture and form, teaching you how to translate the complex patterns of marine life into clay. Following the demonstration, participants will explore biomorphic sculpting techniques that move beyond traditional pottery methods to capture the organic essence of the sea.
