Homeschool: Drawing a Winter Scene Using One-Point Perspective
Homeschool | Available
In this drawing class, young artists will learn how to create a snowy winter scene using one-point perspective to make their artwork look deep, realistic, and full of space. Using colored pencils, students will design a winter landscape featuring at least one building that leads the eye toward a vanishing point.
To make their artwork even more personal, students will include themselves in the scene, illustrating a place—or several places—they love to be during the winter season.
By the end of class, artists will understand how perspective works and will have a detailed, colorful winter drawing that combines strong techniques with their own imagination and story.
