In this magical acrylic painting class, young artists will create glowing, story-filled nighttime scenes inspired by Caralyn Buehner’s book, Snowmen at Night. Students will imagine what their own snowman does while they sleep—sledding, dancing, or stirring up snowy fun!

Artists will learn key acrylic painting skills, including:

• Light in the darkness: blending night colors and adding glowing highlights.
• Movement: using brushstrokes and composition to show action.
• Three-dimensional form: shading and layering to make snowmen look round and real.

Each student will leave with a vibrant nighttime snowman painting that tells a unique story.
