Getting Started in Oil Painting

This 8-week introduction for beginners covers the foundations of traditional oil painting
techniques, guiding students in creating captivating, realistic still-life compositions. Students
build skills and knowledge each week, culminating in the production of a finished painting by
the final class. Students will explore light, form, shape, color, and value. True beginners as well as those with prior oil painting experience are welcome.
A supply list will be provided.
