This 8-week beginner class introduces the foundations of traditional oil painting techniques, guiding students in creating captivating, realistic still-life compositions. Each week builds skills and knowledge, culminating in a complete painting by the final class. Students will explore light, form, shape, color, and value. This class welcomes both true beginners as well as those with prior oil painting experience. Our last class may run longer for the final project.
