In this camp, participants will explore the art of Gyotaku, or “fish printing,” in a storytelling format. Gyotaku is a traditional form of Japanese art that began over 100 years ago. Campers will create prints using realistic silicone fish along with a variety of media to create their own story. Watercolors, markers, and printmaking inks will be used to create a super fun and imaginative concertina book complete with a decorative cover.
