Step beyond the visible spectrum and explore the fascinating world of infrared (IR) photography. This three-session workshop introduces students to the creative and technical process of capturing images in infrared light — transforming familiar landscapes, portraits, and textures into ethereal scenes filled with contrast and mystery. Through guided demonstrations, hands-on shooting, and image editing exercises, participants will learn how to use infrared-compatible cameras and filters, properly expose and process IR images, and craft a final body of work that showcases their creative vision.

    • Equipment options, from camera conversions to external filters

    • Proper exposure, focusing, and white balance techniques for IR photography
