Taste of Art XL: Intro to Abstraction

In this class, we will break down not only forms and compositions but also present an introduction to the principles of design and Gestalt principles of perception. Beginning with a base form of realism, we will deconstruct an image into deeper layers of abstraction.
Class is Friday 6 - 8:30 PM and Sunday 10 AM - 3:30 PM
Adia Carter
Adia Carter has had a lifelong passion for drawing and studied studio art at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She feels that open discussion and the introduction of true and scientific information about race can be the gateway to a more accepting society—especially when dialogue about it is encouraged in the young.
