Holiday Greeting Cards: Painting Workshop | Ages 9-11

Send out some cheer this holiday season with hand-painted greeting cards! During this three-hour workshop, students will use gouache paint to create one instructor-guided winter landscape greeting card, and additional cards during free-paint time.
Students will learn about gouache painting techniques, color harmony, and composition to create stunning greeting cards full of holiday cheer. Students will also learn basic calligraphy techniques to add a message to their finished cards, if desired.

Sarah Booze
Born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina, Sarah Katherine Booze has been drawing and painting since the age of 12 but started her professional art career in 2017. A self-taught artist, Sarah always found herself drawn to the beauty and wonder of the natural landscapes of the world and began to paint the places around her. Her paintings are inspired by her home in North Carolina, as well as the many places she travels.
Through color, brushwork, and composition, her art illustrates the tranquility and allure of nature. The landscapes she paints possess a quiet simplicity which invites the viewer to dive in and sit for a while.
