Fall into Art: Autumn Landscapes | Ages 9-11

Take a leaf out of nature’s book and embrace the Autumn season as we paint stunning fall scenery in this four-week class. Students will learn techniques to paint autumn landscapes such as color mixing, adjusting paint saturation, and planning compelling compositions. Through fun projects and exercises, students will practice their new skills and create several finished landscapes with a variety of painting media.

Sarah Booze
Born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina, Sarah Katherine Booze has been drawing and painting since the age of 12 but started her professional art career in 2017. A self-taught artist, Sarah always found herself drawn to the beauty and wonder of the natural landscapes of the world and began to paint the places around her. Her paintings are inspired by her home in North Carolina, as well as the many places she travels.
Through color, brushwork, and composition, her art illustrates the tranquility and allure of nature. The landscapes she paints possess a quiet simplicity which invites the viewer to dive in and sit for a while.
