299 Advanced Open Studio
Open Studio - Ceramics | Registration opens 5/13/2025 9:00 AM EDT
This class is available only to students who have taken at least 2 clay classes at Sawtooth and must be approved by the Ceramics Program Director. Enrollment provides access to both the wheel throwing or handbuilding studios during hours when there is not a class scheduled.

The Open Studio for the Hand building Studio is available from the week of 7/28 to the week of 9/2.
The wheel throwing studio is closed during the Metal Clay Conference from Thursday, 8/21 to Saturday, 8/23, and the Labor Day. Monday, 9/1.
The tuition includes open studio access, studio glazes, and firings.
A $35 material fee for the first 25 pounds of stoneware clay will be added at time of checkout.

Marisa Henry
Marisa Henryy is a small batch ceramic artist and illustrator, born and raised in the Piedmont of North Carolina. She holds a BFA from UNC Asheville and has been a long-term artist in residence at MudFire Studio & Gallery and Sawtooth School for Visual Art.
