5341. Glass Marbles Workshop
Workshop - Glass | Registration opens 5/13/2025 9:00 AM EDT
This workshop is an introductory hands-on experience exploring the art of marble-making using a bench top torch. Join instructor Kaylee DeMay in creating marbles while you learn to apply frit and pull stringers; and create your own unique piece art! Equipment and materials are provided. Repeat students are welcome. This one-day workshop uses borosilicate/hard glass. All materials are included in the registration, and you’ll keep what you make! You're welcome to bring a beverage and snacks or bag lunch and take a short lunch break.
Kaylee DeMay
Kaylee, born and raised in the heart of North Carolina, discovered her passion for glass during high school and has pursued it ever since. After completing her studies, she advanced to new opportunities. Teaching herself Lampworking, and moving into her own studio where she has all the freedom to explore the wonders of glass without restrictions; Kaylee utilizes it to craft vibrant and whimsical pieces filled with color and vitality. She loves to spread her excitement for the glass arts with others and hopes to inspire future artists.
