4100. Spring Landscape in Acrylics Workshop

Workshop - Graphics | Available

Embrace springtime by creating your own acrylic landscape painting! With a step-by-step
painting demonstration, students will paint along to create a spring landscape depicting a
mountain lake surrounded by flowers.

Students will learn how to paint clouds, distant mountains,
water reflections, and more in this three-hour-long workshop. The landscape we will create in class can be adapted to different painting styles to allow students to express their creativity and make the scene their own. At the end of the class, students will have practiced a variety of acrylic painting techniques and will go home with a 9”x12” painting they created themselves!

This class is designed for those who have used acrylic paints before, but is beginner-friendly.

Booze, Sarah
Sarah Booze

Born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina, Sarah Katherine Booze has been drawing and painting since the age of 12 but started her professional art career in 2017. A self-taught artist, Sarah always found herself drawn to the beauty and wonder of the natural landscapes of the world and began to paint the places around her. Her paintings are inspired by her home in North Carolina, as well as the many places she travels.

Through color, brushwork, and composition, her art illustrates the tranquility and allure of nature. The landscapes she paints possess a quiet simplicity which invites the viewer to dive in and sit for a while.
