4101 Still Life Painting with Oils

This four week class explores the works and processes of master still life painters. We will create a collaborative still life and the class will paint our creation. We will also do a reproduction of a master work. Come with two 11 x 14 canvasses, oil paints and Gamsol solvent.

Craig Richards
Craig has a deep love for the outdoors, spending most of his free time climbing, paddling and hiking. This love is reflected in the essence of his paintings and sculptures. His paintings are primarily in oils reflecting a variety of styles. His sculptures combine the feel of the natural world coupled with sparks of modern elements. He is the founding member of Triad Outdoor Painters a group of local artists in the NC Piedmont and Foothills and a long time member of Muddy River Art Association.
