9053. Plein Air Art Supply Cigar Box
Class - Wood | Available
Here's a woodworking class for another kind of artist: Painters! Learn basic woodworking techniques while repurposing a cigar box into a beautiful plein air pochade box. You'll create a compact place to stash art supplies for your excursions and adventures, which can also function as a mini easel for a quick painting on the go. Class will cover the safe use of tools like saws and drills to alter your cigar box by adding a handle, pallet, and section dividers. Finish it off by adding a receiver on the bottom to easily set up on any tripod. Cigar boxes will be sourced by the instructor and included in the material fee. Box sizes will vary. No woodworking experience is required.
Additional Information:
- A material fee of $15 will be added at check out. Paints and paintbrushes are not included.
- Registration will close one week prior to the start of class.
- Enrollment is open to students 18 and up.
