Crochet Basics
Open Studio - Textiles | Available
"If you can hold a pencil, you can learn to crochet!" Learn the basics of the art of crochet. We will explore how to read patterns both written and visually. By the end of the course, you will know how to count stitches, ways to join a new ball of yarn and finishing.
Soon you'll be crocheting delightful items to make as gifts, to decorate your home, and simply put, to impress family and friends! And you'll love how portable crochet is -- it's perfect for always having a project with you on the go.
- Bring a skein of worsted weight acrylic yarn, a skein of cotton yarn (I get Sugar and Cream brand), and size H and K crochet hooks. These supplies can be found at local craft stores, such as JoAnne's, Michaels or AC Moore.
