Winter Wonderland - Painting Snowy Acrylic Landscapes
Art + Wellness | Available
In this 3 week class we will add both texture and color to white paint to create snow in our landscapes. You would be surprised to learn that snow in a landscape is made more beautiful when small amounts of color are added to showcase where the light is hitting and the colors of the landscape itself are chosen carefully to enhance the wintery scene. Basic supplies included. Students may wish to purchase additional paints if needed. Students are encouraged to bring a variety of objects to develop texture. Ages 14 and up.

Bryn Lenkaitis
Bryn Lenkaitis is a Pennsylvania native who fell in love with the people and places of North Carolina and decided to make it home about 4 years ago. She has a BA in Art History and Studio Art from IUP where she was given the opportunity to study in both Croatia and Spain – most memorable being her experience backpacking the El Camino de Santiago across Northern Spain.
When she’s not working as a Philanthropic Project Specialist aiding in the fundraising efforts for Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Bryn creates art mainly in acrylics and oils but also experiments with ink and mixed media. Her artwork explores the use of bold color and texture to bring to life both the beautiful adventures and day-to-day places she inhabits. In doing so, she can put down roots in the rich soil of each new community she finds herself in and preserve the transient landscapes along the way that bring her immense joy.
