YW25 Macrame Crescent Moon Dream Catcher | Ages 9+

Taste of Art - Youth | Available

Dream catchers were invented and widely used by the Ojibwe tribe. They were designed to catch bad dreams and let good dreams through. In this class, students will learn how to make their own unique crescent moon dream catcher using upcycled fabrics, beads, and cotton cords.

  • CLASS INFORMATION:

What to Wear: Art gets messy, so wear clothing suitable for an artist! It sometimes gets chilly in the studios, so an extra layer is recommended.

What to Bring: Sawtooth will provide all materials and supplies needed for class. Students are welcome to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated and a snack to be eaten during a break.

While parents and guardians are more than welcome to stay in the building, we kindly ask that you don't stay with your children during the class. We've found that this can sometimes hinder the creative process.

Parking: Lastly, metered parking is available on Marshall and Spruce Street and is free on evenings and weekends.

Please note that face coverings are now optional on Sawtooth's campus, including in all studios. We ask that you remain respectful of all students and keep in mind that Sawtooth is an inclusive environment. We want everyone to feel supported, safe, and welcome on campus. They're available at our front desk if you need a disposable mask.
