Natural Dye 101 - Gradient Rainbow

Taste of Art - Textiles | Registration closed 9/20/2024

Come learn how to use natural dyes and assist artist Jessica Singerman in making an art installation.

In this workshop, you will learn how to prepare fabric for dyeing and explore the foundational concepts of working with dye extracts and color modifiers. Walk away with a mini natural dye pallet “swatch book” and two custom dyed bandanas.

A portion of this workshop is focused on dying fabric for Singerman’s Spring 2025 exhibition in Sawtooth's Davis Gallery. All participants will be recognized for their participation.
