Letters + Words Composition: Mixed Media and Paint Collage Artist Collaboration

Art + Wellness | Available

In this workshop we will use letters and words both on paper and in paint to create a collaborative piece on a large canvas. This is a great opportunity to work together to create a unified vision of color and stories when given a theme. We will first brainstorm separately and come together to discuss and create! Supplies provided. Ages 14 and up.  The Instructor will break for lunch. You may wish to bring a bag lunch; there are a few restaurants close by.

    Lenkaitis, Bryn
    Bryn Lenkaitis

Bryn Lenkaitis is a Pennsylvania native who fell in love with the people and places of North Carolina and decided to make it home about 4 years ago. She has a BA in Art History and Studio Art from IUP where she was given the opportunity to study in both Croatia and Spain – most memorable being her experience backpacking the El Camino de Santiago across Northern Spain.

When she’s not working as a Philanthropic Project Specialist aiding in the fundraising efforts for Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Bryn creates art mainly in acrylics and oils but also experiments with ink and mixed media. Her artwork explores the use of bold color and texture to bring to life both the beautiful adventures and day-to-day places she inhabits. In doing so, she can put down roots in the rich soil of each new community she finds herself in and preserve the transient landscapes along the way that bring her immense joy.
