This course introduces the most fundamental controls on your digital camera. Learn in class and through take-home assignments about exposure, ISO, shutter speed, aperture, and composition essentials. Discuss how to upload your images to a computer and basic file storage. Spend half the class in lecture and half the class photographing and practicing techniques. This course is for anyone who has used their camera but still needs help getting better images and understanding camera functions. It is designed for cameras that have the ability to adjust aperture and shutter speed. Ages: 13 - Adult
- Because cameras differ in their operation and interface, it is essential for students to bring their user manual with the camera to each class.
Sydni Bibb
Sydni Bibb graduated from Marshall University with a BA in art education and has taught in NC public schools for six years while building her art portfolio and, working as a part time photographer and videographer. Her art influences and inspiration are a mixed media cross section of digital illustration, photography, and video. She believes art is powerful vehicle for individuals and societies alike to tell their stories storytelling and record fleeting memories.
