Learn to create a beautiful cuff featuring a sterling silver base with copper leafs. Sarah will introduce you to the jeweler's studio and some basic jewelry fabrication tools. Then she'll show you how to use solid sterling silver wire and copper sheet to form an attractive, unique cuff bracelet to show off your new skills. Learn to saw, hammer, file, solder and finish silver while you make wearable art! This workshop is open to ages 16 and up. $10 supply fee is payable at registration and includes everything you need, including silver wire!
Sarah Harvell
Sarah was born and raised in the Appalachian Mountains of Floyd, Virginia and now resides in Winston-Salem, NC. She earned her BFA from Radford University in 2013 where she majored in Jewelry and Metalsmithing with an emphasis in fabrication and lost wax casting. In 2016 she received her MFA in Metal Design from East Carolina University with a focus on shell forming and color on metal. In 2018, she launched Ravena Metalworks – a collection of one-of-a-kind, limited edition jewelry and small sculpture.
