Develop your soldering skills and take your designs to new levels with handmade chains. Learn a variety of chain styles including the popular paper clip chain. Nothing takes your work to a new level better than handmade chain design. We will be using copper wire, included in the fee, but sterling will be available for purchase. Previous soldering experience is helpful.
Nannette Davis
Nannette Davis graduated from Kansas University with a bachelor’s degree in graphic arts and communication and a bachelor’s degree in fine art in metalsmithing. After working as a lead bench and assistant for a jewelry designer in Chicago, she built her studio and started a jewelry line. She worked for 16 years in Gatti-Davis Designs Studio in Colorado then moved to Winston-Salem in 2005 and taught in the public schools through 2011. She teaches classes at Sawtooth and sells her jewelry through craft shows and galleries.
